Mechanical and electrical consulting engineering and energy management services provider The MCW Group of Companies (MCW) (Vancouver, Canada) acquired fellow mechanical consulting engineering firm Perez Engineering (Vancouver, Canada). With the acquisition, MCW grows to over 350 employees primarily across Canada, but also featuring a presence in the U.S. and U.K. Link to details

Late in 2012, leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting firm GHD (Perth, Australia) announced its merger with Hill Michael (Brisbane, Australia), a 50-person strategic engineering services firm to the energy sector and specialized provider of planning, development and operation services for electricity supply systems. Link to details

Global multidisciplinary engineering, infrastructure and project management consultancy Meinhardt Group (Singapore) announced a collaborative venture with leading global transport engineering and consultancy firm Ineco (Madrid, Spain).
