The Consulting-Specifying Engineer Product of the Year program continues to recognize excellence in the mechanical, fire/life safety, electrical, lighting, plumbing, power generation and related nonresidential building systems markets.
For the 2026 program, manufacturers and marketing agencies nominated products launched in North America between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025, for consideration. Consulting-Specifying Engineer readers evaluated products based on technological advancement, service to the industry and market impact. Their votes help identify the solutions that are addressing today’s most pressing engineering challenges, from energy efficiency and electrification to safety, resiliency, digitalization and critical infrastructure performance.
Nominations for the 2027 program will open October 1, 2026, and will include products first introduced to the North American market within the 2026 calendar year.
