Power control system
The ASCO 7000 Series power control systems from Emerson Network Power received seismic certification.
The ASCO 7000 Series power control systems from Emerson Network Power received seismic certification after being tested on a tri-axial seismic simulator with 1000 lbs of force. The low- and medium-voltage power control systems operate even during a simulated seismic event. The equipment was fully cabled throughout testing on the shake table. A cable attached to the product’s top supplied it with rated ampacity, which raised its center of gravity and added weight. Testing with fully rated cables proved the cables would not loosen from their lugs.
