Motor Driven Systems Conference schedule

The MDS conference, November 9 and 10, will focus on motor driven systems important to the United Kingdom and European Union.

The Motor Driven Systems (MDS) Conference, being held on Nov. 9-10, 2011, has published its schedule of papers. Full details, together with the names of speakers, can be found online. The scope of the two-day conference is formidable with contributions from both the UK Government and the EU, Standards and Research bodies, various trade associations and the cream of manufacturing industry. The programme will cover the key subjects of legislation, technology, systems and standards.

Scheduled topics include UK and EU legislation affecting motor driven systems, worldwide trends in motor efficiencies, product and systems standards, magnet technology and examinations of product practicalities in pump, fan, drives, motors and compressor technology.

Among the manufacturers addressing the Conference are WEG, Siemens, ebm-papst, ABB, Vacon Drives, Leroy Somer, Nuaire, Grundfos, Mattei Compressors, D&CS, KSB, Rockwell Automation and Sterling SIHI.

The Motor Driven Systems (MDS) Conference will take place on Nov. 9 and 10, 2011, at the St John’s Hotel, Solihull.
