Harmonic linear belt drive (HLD) actuators; longer than 3 m
OEMDynamics update HLD 60-H3 actuators, greater lengths without performance loss.
OEMDynamics,
a division of Animatics Corporation, enhanced features on its HLD 60-H3 Actuator. The actuator can allegedly achieve lengths greater than 3 meters without attributable losses in performance, and therefore can be used in a wide range of applications. The HLD 60-H3 reportedly features a sturdy, seamless, and magnetically retained steal strip – that meets the European Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
Due to its unique harmonic principle, the H3 belt achieves a gear reduction equivalent of up to 40:1 without the need for a gearhead. For many vertical applications, no brake is required.
