The UL 508 listed MD50, engineered by Square D, provides reliable power connections in industrial facilities, and prevents process interruption while not affecting the main circuit. The switch increases safety by making it almost impossible to plug in a power receptacle with different voltage and ampere ratings. A mechanical interlock forces operators to insert a plug before power can be turned on. The units are IECE 60309 compliant, which increases chances of compatibility with other plant equipment.
