Three-phase kWh submeters with 15-min. interval data recording capability are featured in the wireless submetering family, E-Mon D-Mon electric submeters. The meters provide self-configuring/self-repairing mesh network communications in the 915 MHz license-free band and the operation requires no cellular contact because the wireless receivers are FCC-certified. The family of meters includes standard wiring configurations of 3-phase/4-wire, 3-phase/3-wire, and 2-phase/3-wire and the wireless mesh communications eliminates network management for meters and provides 128-bit authentication.
