Protect bearings from electrical damage caused by circulating or shaft current, prevent bearing noise, and extend motor life with the AEGIS SGR Bearing Protection Ring. Designed for VFD-controlled ac and dc motors, the ring simplifies predictive maintenance programs for motor repair shops, maintenance contractors, HVAC service contractors, and in-house plant maintenance departments by channeling shaft currents to the ground. The ring accommodates motor shafts up to 6-in. and conductive microfibers in the ring allow the shaft currents to discharge safely to the motor frame.
