Protect industrial process equipment against dust and gas explosions with the Flex-V reclosable explosion vent from Fike. Unlike traditional venting, the Flex-V panel returns to its original position at the end of the venting process, restoring about 90% of the vent relief area. With the Flex-V, the affected space becomes reconfined, allowing fire-fighting agents to control fire situations and the risk of secondary explosions is reduced. In addition, the Flex-V may open inward to offer protection against vessel collapse due to vacuum pressure.
