Protect crews from combustible gas hazards with the X series from Honeywell. Three new products have joined the series, which now includes: X5 five-gas detector, XD single-gas detector, and the MicroDock II test/calibration docking system. The X5 and XD detectors use a wide range of electrochemical sensors, available in many user-selectable configurations. The X5 also offers an optional IR setting for monitoring the percentage of carbon dioxide and a PID sensor for detecting volatile organic compounds. Up to 10 XD and X5 units may be connected to the MicroDock II docking station. This capability allows users to manage calibration, bump testing, data-logging, and battery recharging in one module.
