ATS controls

-- Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 1/1/2008

Monitor key data and control all operational functions of automatic transfer switches with the Model 2000 PLUS from Russelectric. The microprocessor-based automatic transfer control allows remote monitoring with an open communications protocol communications network or through an Ethernet network. The system reports all key power data—metered readings and computed values—through high-speed serial communications. Readings include: current, per phase RMS and neutral, percent current unbalanced, real power (kW), per phase and 3-phase total, and apparent power (kVa). The system operates at 45 to 66 Hz and is used in a single-phase or 3-phase, 3- or 4-wire circuits.
