A data center’s annual cooling bill can run literally into the millions of dollars, andseveral manufacturers of data center cooling and power applications has developed integrated solutions to the problem. Now, a research team from Duke University and Hewlett-Packard Labs have developed new algorithms for addressing the problem of high temperatures at data centers. Go to story

Metal cooling towers lined with galvanizing or other coatings have been around for a long time—in many instances, far too long.
