Lane Coburn & Assocs. LLC, Woodinville, Wash., hired Bill Waldrop to manage the design of complex projects. Waldrop is a senior associate and a senior electrical designer with 30 years of electrical design experience. Emcor Group, Norwalk, Conn., announced that its Meriden, Conn.-based Tucker Mechanical business will provide mechanical services for a portion of the North addition of the St. Vincent Medical Center in Bridgeport, Conn. Tucker Mechanical will install systems related to fire protection work, including fire hose valves and sprinkler heads. In addition, the firm’s Energy Services subsidiary has been awarded a series of contracts at the University of New Hampshire. Newcomb & Boyd, Atlanta, announced that Hannah W. Muchnick and Amandi J. Rhett, LEED AP, have joined the firm as mechanical engineers. Peter J. Ralston also joined the firm as an audio-visual engineer. Leo A. Daly opened an office in Denver. Susan A. Jorgensen, PE, LEED AP, principal and structural engineer, leads the 8-person office.
