The review period for this draft is open until Aug. 19, 2008.

By Consulting Specifying Engineer Staff -- Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 7/30/2008 7:48:00 AM MT

The final result of a three-year project will be the Indoor Air Quality Guide: Best Practices for Design, Construction, and Commissioning for commercial and institutional buildings along with an educational outreach effort including a Satellite Broadcast and a Professional Development Seminar (PDS). While the PDS will be developed after publication of the guide, the satellite broadcast is being planned for spring 2009.

The guidance document will assist building professionals in their efforts to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) by providing practical guidance on best practices for IAQ in all phases of building design and construction including those that affect operation and maintenance. The finished guide is expected to include an overview document with an accompanying CD containing more detailed guidance and information.

The review period for the 90% draft of the Indoor Air Quality Guide: Best Practices for Design, Construction, and Commissioning has been changed. The review period ends Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008.
