ABB ReliaGear UL uses the latest automation technology

Courtesy: ABB GroupReliaGear UL 1558 low-voltage (LV) switchgear, new from ABB Electrification Products division, features 100%-rated Emax 2 circuit breakers with embedded logic capabilities that make the switchgear safer and more compact, flexible, and reliable.

“Smart” features enable ReliaGear UL 1558 LV switchgear to be integrated fully into smart grids, buildings, and industrial plants. Some of these features include a synchro-check function integrated into the trip unit, automatic transfer scheme options, seven industrial protocols, a power controller function, and generator protection functions.

Features of the ReliaGear UL 1558 LV switchgear that foster safety and reliability include safety shutters and insulating barriers between sections and around the bus compartment to isolate it from the cable compartment.
