Jury and judging criteria:

The judging panel is comprised of Consulting-Specifying Engineer editorial staff, members of CSE’s editorial advisory board, and other engineers and industry experts.

Judges give rate and give points (on a predetermined scale) depending on how well the tactics were implemented, based on the information provided. If judges think the question was not answered—or if the building failed to include certain criteria of the ARC Awards, judges give that section a ranking of “1 point.”

After final scores are tallied, judges have the opportunities to debate the merits of high-ranking projects to determine the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners in the Renovation and New Construction categories.
