TeledyneDALSA BOA Dalsa, a Teledyne Technologies company in machine vision technology, showcased its imaging components technology at Vision China in Shanghai, China. Teledyne Dalsa featured its most advanced line scan and area scan cameras, frame grabbers, vision software, image processors and smart camera solutions.

Vision Solutions

Boa Smart Cameras – All-in-one machine vision system that are smarter, easier to use, and more flexible than previous generations of smart cameras. The Boa Smart Cameras run on multiple processors, are rated for IP67 deployment for use in harsh environments and consume low power. It is available for mono and color imaging with resolution from VGA up to 1280 x 960 and captures rates up to 60 frames per second. It now comes bundled with Inspect Express 1700 software for faster application deployment.

Geva GigE-ready Vision Appliance – Geva offers a cost-effective multi-camera performance platform for industrial inspection tasks and is compatible with Teledyne Dalsa’s full range of Genie and Spyder3 cameras, as well as third-party cameras.

Line Scan Image Capture

Piranha3 16k camera and XceleraHS PX8 frame grabber – Featuring 16k resolution with a 3.5 um pixel size, the camera achieves breakthrough speeds of 70 kHz line rate and 1.2 GP/s. The Xcelera HS PX8 frame grabber keeps pace delivering bandwidth beyond 1 GB/s over a PCI Express x 8 implementation.

Area Scan Image Capture

Genie GigE Vision Compliant Cameras – With over 21 models and active resolutions from VGA up to 1600 X 1200, Genie cameras offer a versatile platform for both mono and color image capture with uncompromised image quality.
