SMMA Management for Motion Control Conference
Motor and Motion Association’s Management Conference brings motion control exhibits, meetings, information to industry professionals.
The SMMA’s, The Motor and Motion Association, 2011 Spring Management Conference is May 10-12 at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego. The planning task force is currently reviewing potential speakers on management, innovation, sales and marketing plus EMERF plans a roundtable on attracting young engineers to our industry. Table Top Exhibits for industry suppliers are scheduled and pre-Conference options include SMMA Motor and Motion College courses and a meeting of the SMMA Permanent Magnet Division (PMD).
James Raba, U.S. Department of Energy, recently emailed SMMA that a supplemental notice for proposed rulemaking for electric motors was published in the Federal Register January 5, 2011. In addition the SNOPR is expected to be available soon be available on DOE's websites.
