Uponor introduces pre-insulated Aquapex tubing for commercial plumbing applications. This pre-insulated product offers all the benefits of AquaPEX crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) tubing—flexibility, durability, and corrosion-resistance—with a layer of ½-in. PEX-foam insulation surrounding the tubing to insulate potable water lines and meet national, state, and local energy code requirements. Pre-insulated AquaPEX is available in sizes of ½ to 2 in. and comes in 100-ft coils for ½-, ¾-, and 1-in. tubing or 20-ft straight lengths for 1¼-, 1½-, and 2-in. tubing.
