H+A Architects + Engineers announces corporate title recipients

The engineering firm named 22 new recipients for the 2011 class, which is the most ever by H+A.

A/E firm H+A Architects + Engineers announced the following corporate title recipients for 2011-12.

Senior Vice President

Director of Embassy Programs, Benjamin Lilly, PE, has been awarded the title of senior vice president. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute.

Vice President

Human Resources Director, Patricia Davison, SPHR-CA, has been awarded the title of vice president. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Leo University.

Senior Associates

  • Structural Department Head, Steven Applegate, PE, has been awarded the title of senior associate. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Virginia Tech.
  • Controller, Lisa Bilski, CPA, has been awarded the title of senior associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree from Indiana University.
  • Construction Administration/Quality Assurance Department Head, Jared Jamison, PE, has been awarded the title of senior associate. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Virginia Tech.
  • Marketing/Business Development Director, Catherine Gettys, has been awarded the title of senior associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia.
  • Electrical Quality Manager, Patrick Markley, PE, LEED AP BD+C, RCDD, has been awarded the title of senior associate. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Old Dominion University.
  • Chief Electrical Engineer, Charles Richardson, PE, has been awarded the title of senior associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute.

Associates

  • Director of Information Systems, Jeremy Kappes, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology.
  • Architect, Susan Brain, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, PMP, has been awarded the title of associate. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Michigan.
  • Communications Manager, LaTonya Whitaker, has been awarded the title of associate. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • Chief Technology Systems Engineer, Kevin Kosker, CTS, RCDD, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
  • Facility Security Officer, Katherine Lester, has been awarded the title of associate.
  • Project Manager, Jonathan Gray, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Military Institute.
  • Program Manager, Erich Flessner, PE, LEED AP BD+C, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois.
  • Assistant Controller, Wendi Scott, has been awarded the title of associate.
  • Senior Human Resources Advisor, Elizabeth Goetz, SPHR-CA, has been awarded the title of associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • Chief Life Safety Engineer, Daniel Layou, PE, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, College Park.
  • Document Control Manager, Carey Kendrick, has been awarded the title of associate. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.
  • Senior Structural Engineer, Brian Stanley, PE, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Maryland.
  • Project Manager, Brian Conron, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
  • Senior Mechanical Engineer, Adam Mease, PE, LEED AP BD+C, has been awarded the title of associate. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State.

The 2011 corporate title class consists of 22 recipients, the most employees H+A has ever awarded. Corporate title recipients are nominated; the board of directors bestows these titles annually.
