UNO-2174A embedded automation computer. The UNO-2174A is a wide operating temperature and Energy Star certified embedded automation computer. This is a Control Engineering 2012 Engineers' Choice finalist.Advantech's UNO-2174A is a fanless embedded automation computer equipped with an Intel ATOM N450 1.67 HGz CPU, 2-GB memory, 2-GB Ethernet ports, and 6 USB 2.06 ports. It supports a wide operating temperature range of -10 to 70 C and a boot from LAN function. There is a front accessible CompactFlash slot that conveniently allows a user to perform field maintenance, two MiniPCI-e, and one SIM slot to make the UNO-2174A extend its application by integrating add-ons. It is IP40 ingress protected, which prevents dust from getting into the unit and prevents overheating. Onboard system LED indicators make field maintenance easy to determine the system’s running status. The computer supports Windows CE 6.0, WES 2009, Wes 7, and Linux. With its Energy Star certification, high performance, and versatility, the UNO-2174A is ideal for computing platforms for manufacturing executing systems, facility management, and industrial thin client applications.
