Fluke 381 Remote Display True-rms Clamp Meter with iFlex The Fluke 381 Remote Display True-rms AC/DC Clamp Meter with iFlex is a full-featured clamp meter with an important extra: users can remove the detachable wireless display for even more flexibility, convenience and safety. This means that a single technician can do jobs that used to require two people: clamp the Fluke 381 around a conductor, remove the display, then close the equipment cabinet or move up to 30 feet away to operate controls, all while watching real-time readings.

The Fluke 381 clamp meter can handle 1000 A ac and dc current measurement with fixed jaw and 2500 A ac current measurement with the included iFlex flexible current probe; that much amperage capability is rare in a tool of this price and opens up new possibilities for electricians working up to the service entrance. The Fluke 381 also provides 1000 V ac and dc voltage measurements, true-rms ac voltage and current for accurate measurements on non-linear signals and frequency measurement to 500 Hz with both jaw and iFlex probe. The Fluke 381 clamp meter measures to 60 kΩ resistance measurement with continuity detection and records min, max, average and inrush readings to capture variations automatically.

The new Fluke iFlex current probe i2500-18, included with the Fluke 381 clamp meter, allows users to reach around large or awkward-shaped conductors, while the small 0.3-inch profile allows the coil to reach between tightly-packed cables and improves access in crowded spaces. The iFlex probe connects directly to the meter, displaying current measurements without error-prone scaling factors. In addition to ac current measurement, it also works with frequency, inrush, and min/max/avg functions.

The Fluke 381 meter and iFlex probe are safety rated for use in hazard category IV (CAT IV) 600V environments (CAT IV 600V, CAT III 1000 V).
