Butterfly valves feature a patent-pending seat design to ensure full 360-degree sealing. The pressure-enhanced seat deforms to create a wider seating area as the pressure increases, and the design also contributes to the valves’ low breakaway torque capabilities. Valves are equipped with blow-out proof stainless steel stems utilizing Teflon-impregnated upper and lower stem bushings to reduce the torque required to close the valves.
