Bypass/isolation switches are available in load-break or no-load-break bypass. Courtesy: RusselectricRusselectric’s transfer switches and bypass/isolation switches are UL 1008 tested, listed, and labeled 3- and 30-cycle close- and withstand-rated transfer switches and bypass/isolation switches. RTS-30 switches simplify selective coordination, while RTS-03 3-cycle switches offer close and withstand ratings. Both 3- and 30-cycle switches are available for open- or closed-transition transfer. Bypass/isolation switches are available in load-break or no-load-break bypass. Open-transition switches are available with single or dual operators with positive mechanical interlocking. They can be used in applications involving high inductive loads. Dual operator switches can be configured with an adjustable time delay between the opening of closed contacts and closing of open contacts to allow large motor loads to demagnetize before transfer.
