NEBB appoints 2015 president
James (Jim) Huber has been appointed the 2015 president of the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB).
The Board of Directors of NEBB has named James (Jim) Huber, NEBB CP, as 2015 NEBB president during the NEBB Board of Directors Meeting, Oct. 17-18, 2014, held in Hollywood, Fla. Huber succeeds Bob Linder, who served as the 2014 NEBB President.
Huber is the president of Complete Commissioning Inc. in Annapolis and Baltimore, Md. He has more than 30 years of industry experience, and is a NEBB Certified Professional in BSC, RCX, S&V, and TAB. Huber serves on the NEBB Board of Directors, Executive/Finance Committee, and is a former chairman of NEBB’s Sound & Vibration Committee. He is a Certified Energy Manager and also holds certifications in Measurement & Verification and Demand Side Management.
Bob Linder, outgoing president of NEBB said, "Jim’s industry experience as a NEBB Certified Professional and the respect he commands from his peers make him the ideal President to lead NEBB. I could not be more certain that we have found the perfect person in Jim Huber. He has a true passion for our industry and programs; has been very active in his chapter and on NEBB national committees; and has driven many new programs at NEBB."
Huber commented on his appointment: "This is a very exciting time for NEBB, and I am honored and humbled to receive this appointment. 2015 will bring the conclusion of many long-running NEBB initiatives as well as the beginning of several new ones. It gives me great pride to build upon the work of my predecessors, Bob Linder and Stan Fleischer, as well as our Board of Directors. In doing so, I hope to highlight the significant role that NEBB Certified Professionals and NEBB Certified Firms provide as we strive to promote the highest standards in the built environment."
