Steinmetz is the founding principal of Bear Label Consulting Engineers and a licensed professional mechanical and electrical engineer in multiple states. He excelled in school and works hard to be the best at his pursuits, all while elevating others around him. Starting young, his magnet high school didn’t have a baseball team, so junior year he tried out at his home school across town, becoming the starting varsity center fielder. Having an affinity for chess, he decided to try out senior year for his school’s chess team and earned the first seat on the varsity squad. Steinmetz has always had an entrepreneurial bent and co-founded a pool service business with his cousin that same year. After finishing as one of the school’s valedictorians, he moved out on his own, working a full-time job at an engineering firm while also attending college full time. One of Steinmetz’s fondest college memories is volunteering for a high school FIRST Robotics team. While attending UNLV, he began rising through the ranks at his engineering firm, ultimately running the local office. In March 2019, Steinmetz founded an engineering consulting firm with other top talent in the industry. The firm has since grown to seven full-time employees and four executive board of adviser members. They have successfully completed more than 120 projects, ranging from small and midsized remodel projects at integrated resorts, up to a 100,000-square-foot health care clinic. Outside of work, Steinmetz is a dedicated husband and proud father of two children. When he’s not working, he loves inventing, tinkering and watching sports.
