Dussault joined the family business in some ways by following in his brothers’ footsteps and pursuing HVAC engineering after graduating college. It has proven to be a very good decision for him professionally and for the people he works with on a daily basis. Dussault brings more than 15 years of experience in the design, commissioning, retro-commissioning and energy analysis of building systems as a mechanical engineer and project manager. He has worked to optimize infrastructure and energy efficiency in campuswide critical areas for multiple facilities nationwide. Dussault has served as senior mechanical engineer and project manager for many signature projects. As a seasoned controls engineer and project manager, he provides his mechanical engineering expertise to a wide array of projects, including health care, higher education, laboratories, corporate infrastructure and many others. Projects range from new builds, to renovations, to energy audits, to studies, to assessments and more. Dussault treats every project he encounters as a unique challenge and works with the clients and owners to develop an optimal project strategy. In his spare time, he enjoys mentoring young engineers and was part of the founding committee of the Boston Young Engineers of ASHRAE chapter that promoted group activities for young engineers. He also has been part of Montreal’s annual leadership training committees that focus on leadership skills for young engineers. Dussault is an avid runner, which is how he met his wife and has participated in multiple marathons and Ironman competitions with her as a way to decompress on the weekends.
