Jewers Bowlin has created a special niche for herself in the world of refrigeration systems. She has become a trusted authority on the topic of grocery, retail and warehouse systems for clients, working with four of the largest eight retailers in the country and three of the top seven grocers. She knows how to lead her team to deliver on — and exceed — client expectations, ensuring each project concludes with satisfied end users. Jewers Bowlin is the primary point of contact for multiple clients at Henderson and is responsible for ensuring innovative and cost-effective grocery store and refrigerated/cold-storage warehouse designs. She joined the firm in 2007 as the first dedicated refrigeration hire and has become one of the founding members of the company’s refrigeration service line, which has grown to include 45 people. Jewers Bowlin has spent countless hours mentoring dozens of younger designers and engineers — all to grow the business and meet the needs of clients. Her projects range from simple remodels of a few thousand square feet to large warehouses of up to 1.2 million square feet. Community is just as important to Jewers Bowlin as career. She has volunteered with organizations like the ACE Mentor program, the Society of Women Engineers and more. She’s also been deeply involved in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers since her college days, chairing several committees over the last 20 years. Within Henderson, she’s been instrumental in the growth of Empower, one of Henderson’s DE&I groups focused on gender equality. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and is a passionate reader and strong supporter of her TCU Horned Frogs.
