Test for energized circuitsand defective grounds with the VoltAlert ac-non-contact voltage tester from Fluke Corp. The tester features an always-on circuitry and a battery check button that helps sustain battery life. The tester lets users touch the tip of the pocket-size tester to a terminal strip, outlet, or power cord and watch the tip glow red in order to determine if there is voltage in the line. The tester detects voltage of 90 to 1,000 Vac and is CAT IV 1,000-V-overvoltage-rated for user protection.
