The lighting system's active power supply has digital filtering and accommodates every mini-split heat pump brands including all in inverter models rated 14 SEER or greater. The power supply design more than doubles the UV lamp life to a 2-year effective service life. The Mini UV CE's miniaturized components, consisting of two pencil-thin UV lamps and a VAC active power supply, fit inside all ductless A/C brands and even the tightest compact mini-split spaces in both commercial and residential applications. The Mini UV CE inhibits mold and other biological growth on blower and evaporator coil surfaces and sterilizes germs, viruses, allergens and other pathogens that can flourish in HVAC systems from condensation moisture and be distributed throughout a building.
