08/16/2012

Cummins Power Generation’s Power Suite 5.0 is a Web application for sizing and applying on-site power systems. It is optimized for use on most Web browsers. The online version of Power Suite delivers real-time updates on product and performance data. The application allows users, such as consulting-specifying engineers, distributors, electrical contractors, and application engineers, to collaborate on a project online. Enhanced capabilities of Power Suite 5.0 include a step-by-step sizing process that follows an intuitive project-building flow. Power Suite 5.0 consists of three components: GenSize, Transfer Products Selector tool, and the Power Suite Library. GenSize, the generator-sizing tool, gives users a recommended product for the project instantaneously. Users simply input the project parameters and the specific components of the application through an intuitive project-building flow. The Transfer Products Selector tool recommends a transfer switch to meet the needs of the project, delivering a complete power system from a single-source provider. GenSize and the Transfer Products Selector tool are integrated with the library, allowing users direct access to relevant product documentation.
