Courtesy: GrundfosGrundfos' MAGNA models are designed for larger residential and light commercial applications. All four models, MAGNA3 32-60, MAGNA3 32-100, MAGNA1 32-60, and MAGNA1 32-100 are available in cast iron and stainless steel. These variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM)-based circulators use Autoadapt, an integrated logic algorithm, to detect the varying energy usage patterns of applications over time. The Flowlimit function and Flowadapt control mode set a maximum flow limit to eliminate the need for pump throttling valves. Other features include proportional pressure, constant pressure, constant temperature, and constant curve modes, as well as heat energy meeting. MAGNA can also be connected with the Grundfos GO, a mobile toolbox available on Apple and Android devices.
