CxEnergy 2026, a conference focused on commissioning, energy management and building analytics and diagnostics, has released its preliminary technical program. The event is scheduled for April 21–24, 2026, in Chicago.
CxEnergy draws commissioning providers, energy management professionals, MEP engineers, HVAC testing specialists, facility managers and building owners. Planned presentation topics include:
- A practical guide to duct air leakage testing
- Challenges of cannabis facilities
- Commissioning hospital pharmacies for acceptance and accreditation
- Women in commissioning
- Lessons from MEP and BECx partnerships on higher education projects
- Microgrid applications for mission-critical facilities
- Aviation commissioning considerations
- Testing, adjusting and balancing: lessons for engineers, commissioning staff and energy providers
Attendees can earn AIA LU, USGBC LEED general education, and CxA and EMP continuing-education credits. Credits may also apply to other certifications and licenses; attendees should confirm with their credentialing organizations.
Government officials, building operators, and institutional facility managers may register for $99. Others may use the promo code SAVE100 for an early-bird discount through Dec. 31. Registration opens in late November.
