With the purchase of QuickPen International, Trimble is offering an expanded line of BIM software tools for HVAC and other industries.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Trimble has acquired QuickPen International, a BIM software provider in Englewood, Colo.
QuickPen provides BIM products for HVAC, mechanical construction, plumbing, and other industries. The company’s software products include estimating, CAD, fabrication and asset tracking tools. Its 3-D CAD software helps users produce detailed HVAC ductwork and piping models.
