Challenges

GHT provided MEP engineering design services for this interior tenant fit-out in the newly constructed 1812 North Moore Street property, a high-rise Class A trophy office space in the vibrant Rosslyn neighborhood in Northern Virginia. The project included the complete tenant fit-out of the space to serve as executive offices for Humana. The fitout included a mixture of open and closed workspaces, a reception area, huddle conference rooms, café and pantries, a Wellness Room, a Mother’s Room and open collaboration spaces. The entire space’s design featured open ceiling concepts, with very specific tenant concerns regarding noise levels.

Solutions

GHT Limited, along with the design team, worked very closely with the end users, the Audiovisual and the Acoustic consultants to provide air balancing. Experimenting with the air balancing, the team was able to find a collective solution which worked for the end users in the space.
