A new 7,500 sq ft construction is designed to support Broward College Campus. It includes installing two 750-ton water cooled chillers and space for three more chillers in future. However, all the provision for additional chillers are made. This plant will be synchronized with other existing plants, to maximize efficiencies and reduce operating and maintenance cost. The entire campus has a chilled water storage tank, which will support campus HVAC needs. The local power company will issue a minimum of $10,000 energy rebate as result of this project.
