Milwaukee Engineering School Offers New Engineering Degree for Working Adults

Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) is preparing a new B.S. in engineering degree geared toward working adults.

“The development of this degree opens engineering up to more individuals, especially those already working full time,” said Dr. Matthew Panhans, department chair, mechanical engineering at MSOE.

Planned as a part-time, evening program, the Bachelor of Science in Engineering program is ideally suited for transfer students. Students from a variety of educational paths, such as non-engineering B.S. programs, two-year pre-engineering or technology programs, will find it easier to pursue an engineering degree.

The program provides comprehensive coverage of the basic sciences, engineering sciences and design with the opportunity to tailor the program to unique career goals through numerous electives, including electives in the areas of product design and enterprise systems.
