Interns join editorial team

Consulting-Specifying Engineer welcomes two college students as editorial interns this summer. Both interns will work in print and online media, and assist with all aspects of the magazine and its content. Consulting-Specifying Engineer editors are dedicated to teaching students about engineering, and are closely mentoring them through this 12-week journalism program.

Consulting-Specifying Engineer welcomes two college students as editorial interns this summer. Both interns will work in print and online media, and assist with all aspects of the magazine and its content. Consulting-Specifying Engineer editors are dedicated to teaching students about engineering, and are closely mentoring them through this 12-week journalism program.

Eli Kaberon is a student at Columbia College Chicago, where he’s studying print journalism and will graduate in December 2009. His experience primarily lies in sports writing, and he hopes to find a career in that field following graduation. Previously, Eli has written for the sports blogs Chicago Sports Review and Top Ten Chicago Sports, and during the school year he works for the high school sports website of the Chicago Sun-Times, YourSeason.com.

Bettina Chang is a student at the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University, Evanston, Ill., where she is studying magazine journalism and psychology. She is a staff writer for North by Northwestern and TaiwaneseAmerican.org, and is on the creative board of TurtlistMedia.com. Bettina is experienced in feature- and profile-writing and is also interested in media design and multimedia reporting. She will graduate in December 2010.
