Chloride North America , a subsidiary of Chloride Group PLC , has acquired Houston-based Custom Power Inc . Custom Power is a supplier of secure power solutions and maintenance services to the oil and gas, petrochemical, energy, and industrial sectors in United States and South America.

Orlando, Fla.-based Mechanical Services Inc. (MSI) has been awarded a contract to upgrade the HVAC and plumbing systems for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Florida Hospital in Orlando.

Sparta, Wis.-based Multistack announced a new business division, Maglev Retrofit Solutions . This contractor-based division of the modular chiller manufacturer will focus on bringing the MagLev compressor and control system to older, less efficient existing systems.

Cleveland-based River Electrical Sales was launched by Andy Drellishak. Drellishak, a 13-year veteran of the electrical industry, left Adalet to broaden his product offerings and to expand his service area.

New York-based Syska Hennessy Group Inc. has been awarded a contract to design the building systems and architectural lighting for a new Life Sciences Building on the campus of University of California, Los Angeles. The 175,000 sq ft building would meet the university’s goal to provide a state-of-the-art research facility.
