Veilleux is a principal at FEA Consulting Engineers where he has worked since 2007. He started as a drafter and as a result of his dedication, leadership skills and integrity, he has moved his way up in the company to his current position as principal. Veilleux received his second professional engineering license in mechanical engineering in 2018 and has returned to UNLV to obtain his MBA. Veilleux feels the success of the company relies heavily on the associates’ dedication and continued education. Therefore, he stays closely engaged with the company’s intern program and the growth of each individual at the firm. He is an active leader and works collaboratively with all associates to provide the best product possible for clients. Veilleux currently is leading the electrical engineering department and is engineer of record for one of the largest construction projects in the nation, Resorts World Las Vegas, a $4 billion, 10-million-square-foot casino/hotel resort on the Las Vegas Strip. He is passionately involved in directing his firm’s community outreach and charitable giving events. Veilleux assists in FEA’s participation in a yearly bowling tournament for Special Olympics of Southern Nevada; the event raises thousands of dollars for Special Olympics athletes. He also helps organize the company’s involvement with the Boy’s and Girl’s Club, helping the youth of Las Vegas. Veilleux has been happily married to his wife since 2006, they have two children. He is supportive in both children’s piano lessons, school performances and sports teams. Additionally, he has participated with his wife in the PTA and stays actively involved in their children’s school. He enjoys volunteering at several school events, his favorite being a career day guest speaker.
