With thirst for knowledge and dedication, Lui has developed a high degree of technical acumen for energy-saving mechanical designs in data centers. He is active in his community and at home with his young son. As worldwide U.S. Green Building Council LEED subject matter expert and regional mechanical department lead at HP/EYP Mission Critical Services, he sets high standards for himself and serves as a role model for others. Clients value the education they receive from Lui, knowing that their buildings will operate more efficiently, saving time and money. Lui is a cutting-edge engineer who approaches each project with a fresh mind and leads by example with high moral and ethical character. His publications, awards, and challenging projects include designing different types of economizers to capture free cooling. Lui is now providing quality assurance reviews of international projects, which requires strong technical skills and an understanding of how projects are conducted in other countries. Lui further shares his knowledge in two ASHRAE committees, and he initiated the alumni association for Evanston, Ill.-based Northwestern University’s Master of Project Management program, for which he now serves as the founding president. When Lui finds time, he enjoys cooking both Eastern and Western cuisines.
