New Products for HVAC and Refrigeration Applications

Commercial boiler product line offers a fully modulating burner with 5:1 turndown and a cascading feature that allows multiple boilers to be controlled by one central boiler. The turndown feature allows units to generate as much or as little heat necessary to provide a consistent, stable indoor temperature. The boilers are available in seven models with inputs from 80 to 500 MBH. For more about the Knight condensing boiler from Lochinvar, click here .

Heater pricing and ordering tool is designed to help customers specify, evaluate, specify and order wire-wound flexible heaters online. Located on the manufacturer’s website and functioning like a search engine, the tool gives customers data by their entering a heater model number or searching for heater models by dimensional value and insulation type. Universal defrost timer can be wired directly to power supply voltages of 120 volts , 208 volts and 230 volts AC without jumpers or switches, making installation and service easier. The timer can withstand rigorous refrigeration applications, and is listed under UL 873 as a temperature regulating device, a more stringent requirement than other models that only meet requirements for a clock-operated switch. For more about Paragon from Invensys Controls, click here .

Energy recovery ventilators (ERV) are said to help satisfy requirements of ASHRAE standards 62 and 90.1. The units recapture cooling and heating energy, control humidity extremes and are compatible with the manufacturer’s other HVAC equipment. There are four models, offering levels from 300 to 1,200 cfm and two remote controllers types. For more about Lossnay ERVs from Mitsubishi, click here .
