Greenheck has introduced Model IV, an indoor ventilator designed to provide 100% outdoor air in space-constrained indoor areas such as mechanical rooms, attics and basements. Model IV does not include energy recovery and joins Model IVE, which uses a 3-inch polymer total enthalpy wheel to transfer heat and moisture with up to 85% total effectiveness. Both models include hot water and chilled water coils and electric post-heat up to 45 kW.
Greenheck’s indoor ventilators have a modular design that fits through 30-inch service doors and elevators and can be ceiling-hung. Models IV and IVE are designed for retrofits, IAQ improvement projects, VHE stretch code initiatives and applications such as:
- Schools, hospitals and nursing homes where 100% outdoor air is required
- Buildings with roof constraints, such as a pitched roof
- Multilevel high-rise buildings where rooftop DOAS is impractical or difficult
- All-electric decarbonization initiatives
