“The market has recently experienced a tremendous boost from the introduction of blue and green LEDs. This has greatly expanded the scope for LED applications,” states a recent report released by the San Antonio-based firm.
The report also notes that laser diodes have replaced LEDs as the primary light sources utilized by the fiber-optics communication market.
