In this conversation, Kevin McNiff, Dewberry vice president and senior project manager, looks at trends in office building HVAC systems and unique approaches to solving HVAC problems. Bonus: He gives guidance to new engineers, encouraging them to think differently.

Kevin McNiff, PE, is a vice president and senior project manager with Dewberry, a national architecture/engineering firm, where he has worked for more than 30 years. McNiff has been the project manager for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems for tens of millions of square feet of office buildings. Some of his projects include NPR Headquarters, Gannett/USA Today Headquarters and Reston Gateway, the new headquarters for Fannie Mae.
