Challenges

Georgia Institute of Technology selected RMF to provide third-party commissioning services for their 300,000 sq ft Campus Center Expansion/Renovation Project. The project provided a comprehensive renovation of Georgia Tech’s Student Center complex. The complex gained an additional 130,000 sq ft, for a total of approximately 300,000 sq ft of new or renovated space.

The Campus Center project provided enhanced large event spaces, expanded group meeting spaces and updated and expanded dining and retail options for the entire campus to utilize and enjoy. Several programmed spaces focus on student well-being, including a meditation/reflection space and expanded recreational and entertainment areas.

RMF provided commissioning services for the newly renovated space and commissioned systems including the mechanical, HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical systems and kitchen space.
