Itmay not set any world records, but this plastic village spares no details. The Hong Kong Lego User Group (HKLUG) paid homage to the Beijing Olympics with a series of models of the Olympic Stadium (the “Bird’s nest”), Olympic Village, National Aquatics Center (water cube), and residence buildings. The models use about 300,000 Lego bricks and 4,500 Lego people characters and were built in less than 100 hours.

HKLUG is a non-profit organization that promotes Lego by creating high-quality art works.
