Magnone is the director of innovation and new ventures for Johnson Controls Global Fire Suppression products business. Since joining the organization in 2006, he has held roles with increasing responsibility in product development, codes and standards, innovation and technology development. He is an avid supporter of the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors and volunteers his time to support the World Burn Congress when it is hosted in Providence, Rhode Island. Magnone is an avid musician and has been playing guitar since he was about 12 years old. His wife, Joie, is a classically trained vocalist and they often collaborate on various musical projects including recording covers of classic rock, folk, jazz standards and pop music songs for holiday and wedding gifts for friends and family. He is also an avid do it yourself enthusiast and woodworker. In his spare time, he enjoys working in his small garage shop building furniture, restoring old antique tools and working on cars. During the warmer months, Magnone enjoys sailing in and around New England and routinely crews for both inshore and offshore sailboat races.
