Laser distance measurer

The GLR825 laser distance measurer by Bosch Measuring Tools can measure in 11 different modes for distances up to 825 ft and is accurate to within 1 mm. The instrument offers users the flexibility of measuring from one of four distinct points, including a multifunctional extension pin. The tool has enough built-in memory to store up to 30 results. The product has a 1.6 times magnification viewfinder for precision laser sighting in long-range or outdoor applications. A glass lens and ceramic optics carrier provide maximum durability, and the unit is IP54 protected against dust and water.

Vibration tester

The 810 Vibration Tester by Fluke allows large commercial facility teams to test large capital equipment such as chillers, compressors, and large motors. The tester can assess the equipment’s mechanical health and use vibration to detect mechanical problems while they are still easy and affordable to fix. Previously, this required hiring a consultant or installing a monitoring system. The onboard database of the 810 can evaluate specific equipment models, compare the vibration signals to a comprehensive database sourced from years of monitoring in military facilities, and provide a health analysis, diagnosis, and recommendation for any problems it detects.

Thermal imaging scanner

Fluke’s TiS Thermal Imaging Scanner is designed for retrofit and new construction analysis done by engineers who use thermal imaging to detect flaws in construction, such as the common problems of air gaps from faulty insulation and window/door installs. By sensing minute differences in temperature and using color to create a thermal picture of those differences, a buildings expert can immediately detect structural flaws. The TiS has a large screen and features like manual focus that allow the user to capture multiple kinds of shots and angles. It provides complete thermal temperature data for every pixel on screen.

Labeling system

K-Sun Corp.’s Green Machine Labeling System is a label, heat-shrink tube, and bar-code thermal-transfer printer system for professional, pressure-sensitive labels. The product runs on standard AA batteries or an international ac adapter; advanced features include a large, high-intensity backlit display. It has hot keys for making patch-panel, wire-wrap, or flag labels for wire and cable identification. Combined with the company’s MaxiLabel Pro Ver. 3.0 software, the product can create hundreds of ANSI safety, industrial, and general symbols, and it has the ability to easily import custom images. Add-on symbols libraries include laboratory/medical, electrical, and homeland security.
