Sensor-activated faucets

Sloan's BASYS sensor-activated faucets allow for sanitary and simple hand washing.

10/03/2011

Sloan’s BASYS sensor-activated faucets feature five modular, advanced function faucets that can be used in any commercial application. The BASYS line includes five body types, three spray modules, two sensing technologies, four crowns, and four power choices. The faucet components are designed to be both functional and interchangeable. Benefits include simplified installation with all the electronics in the spout and the water lines attached. Diagnosing problems is made easier with separate indicator lights for battery and solenoid. The smart design also includes one simple tool for service as well as enabling water shutoff with a rotation of the solenoid caddy. Battery life exceeds 3 years even in harsh conditions with just alkaline batteries. Upgrading to a solar-powered crown will increase battery life up to 7 years.
